A few Updates
நமது தளத்தில், சில விஷயங்களை அப்டேட் செய்திருக்கிறேன். அவற்றைப் பற்றி இங்கே பகிர்வதே நோக்கம்.
1. முதலிலெல்லாம், ஏதாவது குறிப்பிட்ட வகை கட்டுரைகளைப் படிக்கவேண்டும் என்றால், தளத்தின் மேலே இருக்கும் மெனுவில் அந்த வகையை அமுக்கினால், அந்த வகையைச் சேர்ந்த பதிவுகள் வரிசையாகத் தோன்றும். அதாவது Labeling. கட்டுரை எழுதும்போதே குறிப்பிட்ட வகை label (சினிமா விமர்சனம், மொக்கை, காமெடி, ‘ஆக்ஷன்’, அரசியல், பார்த்தே தீர வேண்டிய படங்கள் இத்யாதி) கொடுத்து, பகுப்பது. ஒரு உதாரணத்துக்கு, ‘தமிழ் சினிமா’ என்பதின் மேல் அமுக்கினால், வரிசையாக, ஒவ்வொரு பதிவாக, லேட்டஸ்டாக எழுதப்பட்டதில் இருந்து பழைய பதிவு வரை, ஒவ்வொரு பக்கத்துக்கும் குறிப்பிட்ட எண்ணிக்கையில் கட்டுரைகள் தோன்றும். இதில் என்ன பிரச்னை என்றால், இரண்டு வருடத்துக்கு முன் எழுதப்பட்ட பழைய கட்டுரை ஒன்று வேண்டும் என்றால், ஒவ்வொரு பக்க முடிவிலும், ‘older posts’ என்பதை க்ளிக் செய்துகொண்டே, அந்த குறிப்பிட்ட பக்கம் வரும்வரை பொறுமையாக இருக்க வேண்டும். அதற்கு ஐந்து நிமிடங்கள் கூட ஆகலாம்.
ஆனால், இப்போதோ, தளத்தின் மேலே இருக்கும் மெனுவில், எந்தப் பிரிவை அமுக்கினாலும், ஒரே பக்கத்தில், அந்தக் குறிப்பிட்ட வகையைச் சேர்ந்த பதிவுகள் அத்தனையும் வரிசையாகத் தோன்றும். இதன்மூலம், அத்தனை கட்டுரைகளின் பெயர்களையும் ஒரே பக்கத்தில் படிக்கலாம். தேவையான கட்டுரையை க்ளிக் செய்தால், புதிய விண்டோவில் அது தோன்றும். இம்முறையில், எக்கச்சக்க நேரத்தை மிச்சப்படுத்தலாம்.
உதாரணமாக, தளத்தின் மேலே, மெனுவில், ‘Movie Categories’ என்ற பிரிவு உள்ளது. அதன் மீது மௌஸை வைத்தாலே, வரிசையாக, ‘உலக சினிமா, ஆங்கில சினிமா, ஹிந்தி சினிமா, தமிழ் சினிமா, காமெடி கட்டுரைகள், ரொமான்ஸ் படங்கள்’ ஆகிய பிரிவுகள் தோன்றும். அவற்றில், தேவையான பிரிவின் மீது க்ளிக் செய்தால், அந்தப் பிரிவில் இதுவரை நான் எழுதியுள்ள அத்தனை கட்டுரைகளின் தலைப்புகளும், வரிசையாக, பழையதில் இருந்து புதியது வரை, ஒரே பக்கத்தில் தோன்றும். அவற்றில், தேவையான கட்டுரையின் மீது க்ளிக் செய்து படித்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டியதுதான்.
இதை முயன்று பாருங்கள். முடிந்த வரை user friendlyயாக இருக்கும்படி வடிவமைத்திருக்கிறேன். பழைய முறையை விட இது மிக எளிதாகவே இருக்கும்.
2. இதுவரை நான் எழுதியுள்ள கட்டுரைகள் அத்தனையையும் ரக வாரியாகப் பிரித்து, மெனுவில் உள்ள தலைப்புகளின் கீழ் பட்டியல் இட்டிருக்கிறேன்.
3. தளத்தின் கீழே, கடைசியில், புதிதாக ஒரு லிங்க் இணைத்திருக்கிறேன். அதை க்ளிக் செய்தால், தளத்தின் மேலே சென்றுவிடலாம்.
4. மெனுவில் புதிதாக இணைக்கப்பட்ட பகுப்புகள்:
Personalities – இதில், இதுவரை நான் எழுதிய சில ஆளுமைகளைப் பற்றிப் படிக்கலாம். கிஷோர் குமார், தேவ் ஆனந்த், எட்கார் அலன் போ, ஸில்வெஸ்டர் ஸ்டாலோன், Frank Darabont மற்றும் நம் கமல்ஹாசன் ஆகியவர்கள் இதில் அடக்கம். மட்டுமல்லாமல், ஷெர்லக் ஹோம்ஸ், கிம் கி டுக் ஆகிய கட்டுரைகளும் இதில் அடக்கம் (கிம் கி டுக் படங்கள், உலக சினிமா பிரிவிலும் இடம் பெற்றிருக்கின்றன).
Social Issues -இதுவரை நான் எழுதிய மிகச்சில சமுதாயப் பிரச்னைகள் குறித்த கட்டுரைகளை இதில் காணலாம்.
Books, Comics and Game Reviews – புத்தக விமர்சனங்கள், காமிக்ஸ் விமர்சனங்கள் மற்றும் கேம் விமர்சனங்கள் இவற்றில் அடக்கம்.
Song Reviews – பாடல் மொழிபெயர்ப்புகள் இந்தப் பகுப்பின் கீழ் உள்ளன.
Karundhel Times – இதில், கருந்தேள் டைம்ஸ் கட்டுரைகளைப் படிக்கலாம்.
மொத்தமாக உபயோகித்துப் பார்த்துவிட்டு எப்படி இருக்கிறது என்று சொல்லுங்கள்.
பி.கு : இதன்படி, இதுவரை, ஆங்கிலப் படங்கள் 77ம், உலக சினிமா 37ம், தமிழ் சினிமா கட்டுரைகள் 31ம் எழுதியிருப்பதாகத் தெரிகிறது. மொத்த கட்டுரைகள், 252. ஏதாவது ஒன்றிரண்டு கட்டுரைகள் எங்காவது விட்டுப்போயிருக்கலாம். தெரிந்தால் சொல்லுங்கள். அப்டேட் செய்துவிடலாம்.

யோவ். இதுல நான் சொல்லிருக்குற விஷயங்களை அப்டேட் செய்யுறதுக்கே ஒரு நாள் ஆயிருச்சு. ஒவ்வொரு கட்டுரையா லிங்க் குடுத்துப் பாரும் :-).. டங்குவாரு அந்துரும். எல்லாம் எதுக்காக? பல கோடிக்கணக்கான என் ‘வாசக’ விசிறிகளுக்குத்தான் 🙂 . . ஹாஹ்ஹாஹ்ஹா
சர்வே முடிவுகள்ல, இதுவும் ஒரு கமென்ட். அதாவது, பகுப்புகள் சரியா இருந்தா படிக்க வசதியா இருக்கும்ன்றது. அதை இப்ப சரி பண்ணியாச்சி. இனிமே கட்டுரைகள். தொடர்களை வரிசையா முடிப்போம்.

யோவ்.. ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட label எடுத்துக்கங்க. உதாரணம்: ஆங்கிலப் படங்கள். அதுல இதுவரை 77 கட்டுரை வந்திருக்கு. நான் இப்ப பண்ண மெதட்படி, ஒரு பேஜ் ஒப்பன் பண்ணிக்கினு, அதுல ஒவ்வொரு லிங்கா காப்பி பேஸ்ட் பண்ணனும். 77 தடவை. புரியுதா? இது ஆங்கிலப் படங்களுக்கு மட்டும். இப்புடியே மத்த categories க்கும் செய்யணும். அப்பதான் நான் சொல்லிருக்குறபடி ஒரே பேஜ்ல எல்லாத்தையும் கொடுக்க முடியும். இது நிசமாவே தெரியலையா இல்ல சும்மாங்காட்டியுமா? ஏன்னா, இது blogging fundamental விஷயமாச்சே 🙂

அந்த டெக்னாலஜி ப்ளாக்கருக்கு வரட்டும். அப்பால அதையும் இம்ப்ளிமென்ட் பண்ணிருவோம்
நல்ல யூஸ்புல்லான, கஷ்டமான வேலை தான் பாஸ். இவ்வளவு நாள் உங்க பதிவுகளை archiveல இருக்கிற ஓடர்ல தான் வாசிச்சு வந்தேன். ஐ … இனி ஜாலி. டைம் எடுத்து செய்திருக்கீங்க. தாங்க்ஸ்.

சின்ன ப்ராப்ளம் என்னவென்றால் அந்த “தொடர்கள் – Sequels in Karundhel” tabக்கு கீழே வேற்றுக்கிரகவாசிகளும் பூமியும் தொடரை இன்னும் சேர்க்கலை..
* “கருந்தேள் டைம்ஸ்” பதிவுகளை ஒரேயடியாக தேடிப் படிக்க வழி இல்லையா?
* “கிம் டாட்காமும் காப்புரிமை மீறலும்” – இந்தப் பதிவையும் சமூகப் பதிவுகளுக்கு கீழே இணைக்கலாமே..

வருசத்துக்கு 3 பதிவு எழுதறவங்களுக்கெல்லாம் இந்த கஷ்டம் புரியாது. இத்தனைக்கும்.. இது ஆட்டோமேட்டட் கிடையாது.
கருந்தேள்:
இப்படி ‘Pages’ உருவாக்கி லிங்க் கொடுப்பதில் இன்னொரு ப்ராக்டிகல் சிக்கல் இருக்கு. இப்ப ஆங்கிலப் படங்கள், ரொமான்ஸ்-ன்னு வச்சிருக்கீங்க. அப்ப ரொமாண்டிக் ஆங்கில, தமிழ், ஹிந்தி படங்களை ரெண்டு இடத்திலும் அப்டேட் பண்ணுவீங்களா?
நாளைக்கு இன்னொரு கேட்டகரி ஆட் பண்ணினா, திரும்பவும் இந்த வேலையை ஆரம்பத்தில் இருந்து பண்ண வேண்டியிருக்கும். பல ஜெனரில் வரும் படங்கள் இன்னும் குழப்பத்தை உண்டாக்கலாம். அல்லது இதுவெல்லாமே.. ஆங்கிலப் படங்கள்-ன்னு ஒரே கேட்டகரியில் உட்காரும்.
அப்புறம்.. மெனுவின் வார்த்தைகளின் கன்ஸிஸ்டன்ஸை கொஞ்சம் கவனிங்க தல (Review, Cinema, Film).
இது நிச்சயம் பெண்டெடுக்கும் வேலைதான். ஆனா கூகிளில் சைட் வச்சா.. இந்தப் பிரச்சனை வரத்தான் செய்யும். நீங்க ஏன், தனியா சைட்டை ஹோஸ்ட் பண்ணக்கூடாது?

I think you are techie, so i am suggesting this to you.
Why don’t you build a dynamic page based on RSS feed. Blogger support RSS feed based on label.

1. You can pass the label to the dynamic page from top menu.
(i.e) your url in the top menu should be like this http://www.karundhel.com/p/showCat.html?cat=worldCinima
2. Then the page will get the “worldCinima” and query your blog like
http://www.YOUR BLOG.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss/-/worldCinima
3.This will return a XML and you can parse the XML in Javascript to render the page.
Its simple and one time work. What you did is a heavy back breaking task. So think again. Hope it will work. If you need anymore clarification let me know i will come back tomorrow.
Just now i saw you are using http://www.karundhel.com. I thought this is a blogger. In this case you can use any technology to parse the xml and build the page.
Also if you are using Atom

Also i more suggestion. you can even build the menu based on labels. if you did these things you don’t have to worry about any thing later.

Dear Stock.. went through the comments. I knew about the RSS label feed, and building the dynamic top menu based on it. But the problem is, the posts will not be displayed like what I have given now. Instead, the posts appear fully, with the reader scrolling do…….wn to find an old post, which is again time consuming. I was wanting something like what I have given now. A page, in which all the posts corresponding to the particular category (or, label) appearing with only their names. That will make navigation easy.
I searched all over before doing what I have done now. Couldn’t find such a workaround, though. That’s y I decided to do it manually.
Now, I must update each post under the particular page, once I have published the post, which is again a load on my back, but I am willing to take that work (atleast, for a while, until my issue gets addressed by blogger). Let’s c..
In case if you have any suggestions, you are always welcome my friend. Thanx a lot for spending time in trying to tell me about the dynamic top menu and the rss label feeds….

Anyway i wrote the logic for you. Unfortunately i couldn’t find a label from your blog. So i used our Unmaithamizan blog’s சினிமா

now deploy the HTML in your server server.
I am still worried about the performance. If you have the luxury of using sever side languages like JSP/ASP/PHP you can create resource file which will update once in a day(basically i want store the linkArray in some way). But i choose javascript so that we can use in any blog.
Also the category you make it as a dynamic value such a way that it can be obtained from URL. If you did that then this Html will work for all label. (if possible i will work on this weekend).
Rajesh one last suggestion. Can you post this in your blog, in case somebody wants they can use this method.

But, I’m extremely sorry to say that mine is a blogger. I only have used the domain hosting service by redirecting the blogger URL to my own URL.
Needless to say, I am gonna migrate to hosting my site independently in a few weeks. I think this will be of a fantastic use then.
But, I am now going to try if I can use the code in the limited blogger HTML source (or any other workaround). If it works, will be great !!!!

Super…. It is possible to host the js files in google server and then to use this in my blogger page using a script tag !!! Trying it now.. I think I’ll be able to succeed …. Will update you thalaivaa
