தமிழ் சினிமா காப்பிகள் – முரண் படக் காப்பி கதை
ஹிட்ச்காக்கின் Strangers on the train படத்தின் சூடான காப்பி இதோ. ஹிட்ச்காக் உயிரோடு இருந்திருந்தால், தற்கொலை செய்துகொண்டிருப்பார். U too Cheran? சேரனை நான் நம்பினேன். ஆனால், அவரும் விதிவிலக்கல்ல என்று இப்போது தெரிந்துவிட்டது. யாருக்கும் தெரியாத உலக சினிமாக்களைக் காப்பியடிக்கும் காலம் போய், இப்போது எல்லாருக்கும் தெரிந்த உலக சினிமாக்களை சுடச்சுட திருடும் வேலை ஜரூராக நடந்துகொண்டிருக்கிறது. சனிக்கிழமை இரவு, நண்பர் செ. சரவணக்குமார் இந்தக் காப்பியைப் பற்றிச் சொன்னார். நமது பட்டர்ஃப்ளை சூர்யா, இப்புகைப்படத்தை அனுப்பிவைத்திருந்தார்.
யார் வேண்டுமானாலும் இக்காப்பியைப் பற்றி சம்மந்தப்பட்ட நிறுவனங்களுக்கு மின்னஞ்சல் செய்யலாம். இந்தப் புகைப்படத்தையும் தவறாமல் உபயோகப்படுத்திக் கொள்ளலாம்.

It would compel us to think that Mani Ratnam inspired by “Proof of Life” (Meg Ryan & Russell Crowe). Many similar scenes are found in these movies. Engineer husband moving to a distant place for work, kidnapped by terrorists, wife fights with Army officer, engineer’s escape (with sliding in the slope) & cuaght by the captors.. etc.
The difference here is Roja made in 1992 & POL in 2000.
nothing can be done karundhel.. because.. already the same film been inspired in telugu. and apart from this. .you cant take them to legal. if you follow the screeplay..
@ Dev – There might be a few co-incidents. but I still know Manirathnam is a clever copycat :-). He mixes his films well that we can never prove that they are copies :-). Like Amores perros and Aytha ezuththu 🙂
@ cable – We’ll see. I still think that even one case is enough on these copycats. I think Ubisoft will not leave this thing , and they are seriously in to it. We’ll wait and c ..
Its not a blatant copy. Basic plot is stolen which shld have got its cue. Movie’s screen play has its unique elements and to me writing a screen play is the toughest part.

All cinema news readers & watchers know about this bcoz director of this movie itself said in all his media meet and functions that “intha padam Strangers on the train oda thazuval thamizh audience yetha mairi intresting ah pani irukom”. Naan karundhel rasigan boss, Intha page unga site ku asingama iruku so remove this page
I thought Muran was a copy of a Telugu movie ‘Visaka Express’ which I saw a year before Muran got released. now I see the real film is from Hitchcok. I dont know where from Hitchcock copied it from :-p lolz
